Once again 2019 was an excellent year for our community:
• Our biennial meeting (6th Enbeng Conference) was held excellently at ISEL, Lisbon, in February.
• We received the best-outstanding European EMBS chapter award at the EMBS, Berlin, in July;
• We hosted 2 distinguished lectures (Bart ter Haar Romeny [PT-MATHS-IN, Coimbra, June] and Carmen Poon [RECPAD, Porto, October]);
• And 15 activities were supported/promoted (http://embs.ieee-pt.org/events-2019/).
