NEBM-IST brought the first edition of the event “Under A Biomedical Eye”, whose main purpose is to show the importance that scientific research has in today’s emerging society and to stimulate the curiosity of several engineering and medicine students to invest professionally in the area of the research when they entered the labor market. The guest speaker was the secretary of IEEE EMBS Portugal, Hugo Silva to present his work recently published in Nature Scientific Reports (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-85697-2).
