Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Engenharia Biomédica (ENEEB) is held in 2018 in ISEP, Porto. As its name indicates is an event that allows the exchange of experiences between students of the courses of Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering of Portugal, alumni and companies in the area. In addition to conferences, workshops and debates, ENEEB provides visits to companies. The XIII edition of ENEEB is organized by students of the Superior School of Biotechnology of the Portuguese Catholic University (ESB-UCP), the ISEP and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). This event takes place from March 1 to 4, 2018. Some of the areas covered in the meeting are nanomedicine, biomaterials, entrepreneurship, robotics and bioinformatics.

The IEEE EMBS chapter Portugal was represented at the event with a presentation by Carlos Ferreira, treasurer, on the challenges that the IEEE EMBS Portugal proposes, alluding to the support that EMBS offers with the presence of Distinguished Lectures in events. IEEE EMBS chapter Portugal want to help careers, support new and formed IEEE EMBS SB at universities and certify events.
