The IEEE EMBS Portugal Chapter launch a contest to support students/recent-graduated that had their publication accepted for oral/poster presentation in international EMB Conference 2022 (EMBC2022). The objective is to financially support an active member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society that is the first author of an accepted publication for presentation in the EMBC2022.
After the deadline on the 22nd of May we are happy to announce that Tânia Batista was the winner of this prize and will present her paper entitled “Towards a Closed-loop Neuro-Robotic Approach to DBS Electrode Implantation based on Real-Time Wrist Rigidity Evaluation”.
IEEE EMBS Portugal Chapter aims to continue to perform the same contest in the next years to support students/recent-graduated in the presentation of their research work as a incentive to join the scientific community and pursuit a career on research.
